Canyons Village at Park City

The entire focus and purpose behind Canyons Village is the guest's experience. The village is about 12 minutes or less than 5 miles from downtown Park City. It's the closest base to the Salt Lake City airport and offers award-winning dining, world-class skiing, year-round entertainment, and of course, fun for the entire family. Canyons Village features 25 lodging establishments, 14 restaurants and bars, over 20 shops and services, and six ski and snowboarding schools. It is clearly one of the premier ski resorts in North America.

Living in Canyons Village

Canyons Village offers a variety of living opportunities, sizes, and pricing. The community is still growing with up-and-coming conference centers, shopping and dining options, and several real estate opportunities. From condominiums to exclusive estates at the Colony at White Pine Canyon, there's something for everyone looking for the ultimate vacation destination. Currently, there are about 25 individual neighborhoods and communities in Canyons Village.

Canyons Village Amenities

In addition to fantastic lodging and dining, Canyons Village also features its own golf course. The Canyons Golf course, designed by Gene and Casey Bates,  was built in 2015 as an additional amenity to the community. This 18-hole golf course winds its way from the lower portion of the base area up through the ski run above the Orange Bubble ski lift. It offers stunning views and is a perfect activity during the summer months.

Each of the numerous lodging options has its own amenities and may include swimming pools, fitness centers, fire pits, and on-site concierge services. Several have ski storage facilities, private entrances, and steam rooms as well. Condominium buildings include Red Pine Condos, Hidden Creek condos, Yotelpad condos, the Ascent boutique hotel condos, the Waldorf Astoria, Sundial Lodge and Lift.  

Of course, the skiing is really what brings visitors and residents alike to the Canyons Village area each winter. With nine mountain peaks and a maximum elevation of 9990 feet on, ironically enough, Peak 9990, over 180 trails, five bowls, six natural half pipes, and three terrain parks, there is never a lack of things to do in the winter. For seven years starting in 2010, Canyons Village hosted part of the Sprint Grand Prix of Skicross and Snowboardcross.

During the summer, Canyons Village hosts concerts at the outdoor amphitheater. The lift and trail system are open throughout the summer for mountain biking and hiking. The resort operates two zip lines and a miniature golf course.
